A few days ago I was happily outside taking pictures of people taking pictures of auroras. Then it clouded over, and I couldn't see the auroras anymore. And suddenly today, the weather cleared and the moon was up and nearly full. Holy crap.
Everything about this is wrong. It's less than a third of the exposure of the previous photo. Everything is brightly lit. There are stars visible. And... lens flare? It's the middle of the night! I could probably read a book with small print by the moonlight, and I have notoriously bad eyesight.
At least I'll be able to see the snow drifts before I trip over them.
